Local Mask Orders
- COVID-19: TN County/ Municipal State of Emergency and Local Mask Requirement. CLICK HERE
- What to do if a food industry associate tests positive for coronavirus. These protocols are approved by the FDA, and are currently being reviewed by the CDC.
- While grocery stores are being asked to remain open, it is very important that they be seen as encouraging social distancing. HERE is a sign retailers might consider using.
- Tennessee has not followed other states by mandating that all businesses close. In those states, there are exceptions for “essential industries”, and all tiers of the food industry are included in that category. Nevertheless, some Tennessee municipalities and counties are issuing orders and declarations that might exceed the state’s lighter touch. If you believe you need to provide your associates and drivers with some “essential industries” cover, you could arm them with a version of THIS LETTER, customized to your company’s details.
